Ferry Services
From Torpoint, Cornwall Towards Devonport:
Following the A374 in Cornwall will bring you to Torpoint,a small town on the river Tamar. There is a popular vehicle & foot ferry that crosses between Devonport and Torpoint regularly, every 15 minutes or so. If you take the Ferry
by foot, on reaching the Devonport side there is a taxi rank and a bus service available. (see Bus info above)
Don't forget to check-out the Royal Navy ships on the river as you cross. You'll be able
to see a lot of the dockyard and the naval base from the ferry - all very attractive.
From Devonport towards Torpoint, Cornwall:
Ferries depart frequently from Ferry Road, at Pottery Quay, Devonport. Travel is free if travelling by foot. Busses 81, 81a 81c take passengers to Ferry Road.
